Long-distance comfort was the overall goal when Assos' designers joined together for the new SS. cento_s7 Jersey. It features all of the sharp details you've come to expect from the Swiss apparel giant, along with a smooth fit for those day-long rides. The bulk of the SS. cento_s7 was made from Assos' exclusive Type 145 fabric. This innovative material was designed with body temperature regulation in mind, as its composition works to transfer moisture at varying rates. When your body is hot, and your perspiration levels are high, the material reacts by accelerating moisture transfer from your skin to the fabric's surface, where it dries quickly. Inversely, when your body cools down, the opposite results, where the evaporation process slows down, using body moisture as a means of retaining warmth. For additional body temperature control and increased moisture wicking, the SS. cento_s7's underarm panels have been constructed with Assos' highly elastic, lightweight mesh.
The placement of this material provides you with both a free range of motion and enhanced breathability. In terms of fit, the SS. cento_s7 jersey was made with a contoured fit that isn't too loose or too tight, complementing a range of types and those who prefer a smoothly stretching, supportive top over a compressive, race-cut jersey. Of course, this jersey, like all Assos jerseys, has been designed to accommodate the body within the cycling position. Accordingly, you'll find that the fit feels tight and oddly contoured while standing. However, the moment that you stretch to the hoods or get into the drops, you'll feel that signature Assos "click," and your ride will be guaranteed to be absent of any bunching, chafing, or pinching. In addition to the three lower back panel pockets, a zippered "safety pocket" was sewn onto the center rear pocket, allowing you to stash your keys and cash, as well as route your headphone wires through the inside of the jersey. Other finishing touches include rear r.
