About You

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated cycling enthusiast and outdoor lover to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate – Bikes.

You enjoy talking bikes, gear, trails, commuting, mountain rides, road cycling, or simply helping people discover the right equipment for their adventures. You’re excited to engage with customers, learn new products, and contribute to a welcoming and community-focused shop environment.

Previous bike industry experience is helpful, but not required. We’re happy to train the right person who is eager to learn and passionate about cycling and the outdoors.

Our goal is to build a team that creates loyal, long-term relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and expert guidance.

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll primarily work on the sales floor assisting customers with bikes, cycling gear, apparel, and accessories. You’ll help create an inviting retail environment, maintain organized displays, process transactions, and support daily shop operations.

This role can be part-time or full-time depending on experience and availability.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Passion for cycling and the outdoors
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to learn about bikes, gear, apparel, and industry trends
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of bike components, accessories, or bike maintenance is a plus
  • Experience with bike fitting, bike assembly, or repair work is a bonus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with finding the right products
  • Educate customers on bikes, cycling gear, apparel, and accessories
  • Facilitate retail transactions using the point-of-sale system
  • Maintain organized and fully stocked sales floor displays
  • Assist with merchandising and inventory organization
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Support opening and closing procedures
  • Collaborate with shop managers and team members on daily priorities
  • Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and efficient retail environment

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time or full-time opportunities available
