MAINTENANCE

At Tacoma Bike we are the bike shop for everyone, from beginners to racers, so our tune-ups match that diversity.  We offer a $50 Basic Tune Up for the bike that needs to be checked over and improved, but we also provide higher levels of service for bikes that see more use and need more maintenance.  If you have any questions about what these points mean or what you need, please call or visit either of the locations at the bottom of the page.

Upgrade from the Basic tune up to the Full season tune is a drive train cleaning, wheels trued to 1mm, BB removed and re-lubed, Freehub removed and re-lubed. All for only $60

Upgrade from Full Season Tune to the Overhaul: your bicycle will receive new cables, housing, chain, and bar tape at the cost of the parts which vary between manufacturers and brands.  

FITTING

Our staff has developed an extensive knowledge of cycling biomechanics and have helped countless cyclists improve their efficiency and performance through proper bike fitting.

Basic Adjustment – $75 / 45 minutes (call to schedule your next appointment)

CUSTOM BIKES

We love anything with two wheels, but custom bikes will always hold a special place in our heart. With a custom bike, you make the rules: frame, wheels, components – the sky is the limit. We work closely with custom manufacturers such as Serotta, Steelman, Co-Motion and Waterford to bring you the highest-quality frames “not” on the market.

 

BIKE BOXING

No, we don’t mean a fist fight… Get your bike boxed for shipping or storage for just $50. Our shop techs known just how to package your bike to avoid damage during transport, and we can also build up bikes that have been shipped to you. Just bring it down to the shop!

FINANCING

We are pleased to be able to offer financing to qualifying customers through GE Finance. Six months same as cash on bikes under $2500, 12 months on bikes over $2500 OAC. Ask in store for details.
